Zac Brown Band’s Coy Bowles Writes Children’s Book

Not only is Coy Bowles an amazing part of the Zac Brown Band, he is also one of the most creative human beings I have ever met. Having just released his own solo record, Love Takes Flight, he is now the proud author of a children’s book! The story for Amy Giggles:Laugh Out Loud came about two years ago. I remember this like it was yesterday. I got a phone call in the middle of the night by Bowles, and he simply said “Eileen, I just wrote a children’s book, can I read it to you?” Now you have to understand something about Coy, he is insanely talented in a multitude of things, but children’s books? I was definitely intrigued. After reading me his story, I knew it was going to be huge!

Amy Giggles is based upon a friend of Coy’s, who had an amazingly large laugh, and always got made fun. The book encourages children to be proud of who they are, and to embrace their uniqueness. You can currently buy the book on the Zac Brown Band website.
