AthFest 2014
It’s that time of year again and for those of you who have never experienced AthFest..here are 3 reasons why it is a must:
1. The outdoor stages and Artist Market are free to the general public so what’s to lose?!
2. It is for a good cause. AthFest, Inc., a non-profit organization, supports local music and arts education programs for Athens-Clarke County children.
3. AthFest is ranked one of the Top 10 Summer Music Festivals by Livability.com…and hellooo everyone loves the one and only Classic City.

On top of “crawling” from Athens’ best venues, the AthFest wristband can get you the discount of a $5 ticket for The Wired Dance Music Festival. It showcases the best local and regional talent in the electronic music scene. From deep house to festival trap and dubstep to drum & bass. This event takes place at New Earth Music Hall on Saturday. There are 20 acts, just a few fan favorites are Reid Speed, Keith MacKenzie, and Smookie Illson.
