Radiolucent: Listening to Radiolucent, you might get the impression that not much has changed down in Dixie since Otis Redding, the Allman Brothers, and Jerry Reed made their way across the Georgia clay. And the truth is that not much has changed in all these years, at least not where Radiolucent is from. The whiskey still warms you, the collard greens still taste just like grandma’s, and the classic records continue to prick at the soul, same as the day the tracks were cut. You’ll find Radiolucent adhering to this rich heritage like a time-honored family recipe. Forming in 2007, Michael Mann, Andy Appling, and Mack Chambers set out to add their own chapter to the story of southern music. Around their tales of heartaches and hard times, they crafted a high-octane brand of traditional southern music that’s planted firmly in the present. After rounding out the line-up with Mike Cowan, they began to plow their way across the North Georgia countryside, playing dive bars, honky tonks, and fairgrounds, all the while amassing a dedicated following that continually pack their hometown shows in Athens, Georgia.
Neil Cribbs: Neil Cribbs is a Grammy-nominated blues and soul-soaked Americana musician based out of Atlanta, GA. Drawing influences from Cat Stevens, the Beatles, Uncle Tupelo, Taj Mahal, Joni Mitchell, Richard Buckner, and many other artists Neil’s road is paved with anything that grooves. With over 130 solo shows under his belt in 2011, he has continued to tour around the United States, collecting tales, music, and fans along the way. His first studio album “Marionette” gained fans of pure, raw Americana while his sophomore release “Windshield” provides listeners with a high-energy mash up of his genre-less writing style. In late 2011 Neil formed Neil Cribbs and the Rough Gentlemen and began pushing his sound. In 2012 Neil finished his third album “To the Left” with Producer Simon Illa and Engineer Sam Thomas further pushing the limits of his style. Neil continues to keep driving with the uplifted fanbase of self-proclaimed Cribblets.
