For a couple of months now, local bands have been working across the city gathering up community service hours for WonderRoot's slightly unusual Battle of the Bands. In order for the bands to get a spot at the final battle (which just happens to be at Lenny's Bar this Saturday) they had to battle each other in community service hours first.
The bands who have got the most hours who will be performing are The CANZ, Stanza, The Doppel Gang, The Falcon Lords, Blaze Hazel, Omar Rodriguez and the Prodigal Son Band and Just Jo. The winning band gets a session at WonderRoot's studio with producer Graham Marsh (Gnarls Barkley,
Leona Lewis).
