Manchester Orchestra’s the Stuffing @ Center Stage & Vinyl
The 4th Annual Stuffing has come back to Atlanta and features many great bands, playing at both The Loft and Vinyl at Center Stage. Tonight’s show will feature plugged in performances by artists such as Manchester Orchestra, Grouplove, O’Brother, Front Bottoms, Roadkill Ghost Choir, Big Jesus and others.

Stevens Layne and Sonia Leigh w/ Jeff Brinkman @ Eddie’s Attic
Stevens Layne (made up of Molly Stevens and Whitney Layne, Wilson Phillips-style) separately and together have opened for acts including Keith Anderson, Ty Herndon, Rodney Atkins, The Indigo Girls, Kelli Pickler, Josh Gracin, Lori Morgan, and Jaime Johnson. Stevens Layne encompasses honest and raw lyrics with a soulful and pure sound. Stevens and Layne are two different people, but the core of truth, passion and deep rooted soul is found in their music together. Stevens Layne is a powerful team spitting out songs from the heart.

Daley @ Eddie’s Attic
A unique, UK singer/songwriter and artist. Daley hails from Manchester. His sound is rooted within Soul, Pop and R&B, infused with Ambient / Experimental vibes. Over the last few years Daley has been building a reputation for himself around the world, showcasing his trademark melodic vocal style, flair for songwriting and vocal arrangement, and is currently finishing his debut album.

Copious Jones w/ Spencer Pope @ Smith’s Olde Bar
Copious Jones is a diverse 6-piece band that defies genre and has quickly become recognized as one of the most promising talents coming out of Atlanta today. Consisting of 3 friends from music school who joined creative forces with 3 respected veterans from the local jazz/Latin scene, the band draws from a wide-variety of styles (including, but not limited to progressive-rock, funk, jazz, Latin, classical, African, blues, folk, jam, electronic) to create an ever-evolving, unique musical experience based around inspiring singer/songwriter, Mikhail Petersen.

Hip to Death w/ Sex BBQ @ The Earl
Hip to Death dole out a thick, disorienting splatter of room-spinning post-punk psych-rock that threatens to suck your eyeballs inside-out and eat ’em on a cracker. Their album Punk Will Never Die But You Will packs so much intense, skin-pulling, acid-gobbling goodness into its 26 minutes, we’re at a loss to know why The N.E.C., Abby Gogo, Zoroaster, All the Saints and other local psych-heavy noisemongers haven’t been beating down their hatch to book some gigs with them.
