The Pinups / When You’re Strange / Black Juju @ Smith’s Olde Bar
PINUPS is a unique, very entertaining, high energy, good clean fun David Bowie tribute act, from Atlanta, Georgia. Inspired by the 1973 “Pinups” album, which is a classic collection of Bowie’s favourite songs from the British 60’s scene. The band was put together, purely for fun by singer, Kevin Jennings aka “Jiggy Sawdust” and guitar player, Toby Marriott aka “Rick Monson”. They have played together over the past three years for various “special occasions”, with a very colourful cast of characters.
Emeli Sande @ The Tabernacle
Catch singer-songwriter Emeli Sande at the Tabernacle tonight! She performed at the 2012 Olympics, at the White House for President Obama and she opened for Coldplay on their Mylo Xyloto Tour. This girl has got the full package: the voice, the lyrics and the perfect performance personality. Don’t miss her! Tickets are still available.
Ghost Lights @ The Drunken Unicorn
Rousing rock and roll with a plethora of influences, Ghost Light, hits the Drunken Unicorn stage tonight along with Prince Albert and Marshall Ruffin.
