Happy Hump Day little Atlantians! It’s Wednesday, and I hope your day is filled with more debauchery than a Led Zeppelin afterparty. Here are a couple of things to hopefully get that going.
-It’s Indie Songwriter night at The Earl (oxymoron?) with songbirds Allison Weiss, Bess Rogers, Ian Axel, and Allie Moss.
-British guitar slayers, Gunslinger UK will be running a muck in Heaven at The Masquerade; Joining them will be Alan Davy of Hawkwind, and Blue Hotel.
-My new favorite night at Eddie’s Attic is when the ATL Collective shows up with a bunch of cool songs covering amazing albums. Tonight’s soiree includes a riveting rendition of Marvin Gaye’s What’s Going On, which will be performed by some Atlanta faves: Alvin Love, Shadowboxers, Adron, Chinua Hawk, and my personal fave, Nathan Angelo.
-If you have never had a chance to see pint size pop star, Ben Deignan, then you must get yourself to Tavern 99 in Buckhead to help him raise funds and awareness to the AIDS Walk Atlanta & 5K Run.
