What’s Up Tuesday?

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today’s pumpkin is brought to you by the letter B, for Bob Dylan of course! Today while you’re contemplating why exactly you are wearing shorts and flip flops when it’s almost November, here are a few things you can do to get out and show off your getting-pasty-white legs.

-In the last three years Nika Roza Danilova, aka Zola Jesus, has gone from being an outsider experimental teenage noise-maker to a full fledged internationally celebrated electronic pop musician. It was a huge feat to accomplish, and despite her age (young), her geography (mid-western, desolate), her accelerated scholastic requirements (high school and college were completed in three years each) and her diminutive physical size (4”11, 90 lbs) she has triumphed. See her for yourself tonight at The Earl.

-Although perhaps not a Christian’s favorite holiday, Christian artist Daniel Bashta recently signed with international worship label Integrity Music with whom he released his album debut, The Sounds of Daniel Bashta in September. The project includes 12 songs penned by Daniel including, “Like A Lion,” a prophetic anthem that was also recorded by the David Crowder Band. Catch the non-pagan tonight at Vinyl.

-Newly reunited Athens indie band, Masters of the Hemisphere, will be rocking out at The 529, with Gold-Bears.

-If you have never seen the Ruby Velle Trio, then please by all means, get your ass to Eddie’s Attic tonight, where I guarantee you will shake it! This is a great live show, you won’t regret it.
