After Edmund with The Howling Tonques @ Vinyl
Since the release of its 2008 national debut disc Hello, After Edmund has scored mounds of critical kudos, toured from coast to coast multiple times over and amassed a continuously swelling fan base from the ground up. Amidst those adventures, the group scored a highly coveted Grammy nomination (subsequently strutting down the red carpet in style while hanging with members of Death Cab For Cutie, Metallica and the Blind Boys of Alabama to name a few), opening up for Linkin Park’s famed Projekt Revolution (alongside the likes of Chris Cornell, The Bravery and Hawthorne Heights), while also scoring a trio of radio singles “Like a Dream,” “Fighting for Your Heart (Let It Go)” and “Clouds.”
Sydney Rhame and Special Guest, Bryson Levisay @ Eddie’s Attic
A fourteen-year-old singer-songwriter from Decatur, Ga. who began writing music and lyrics at the tender age of six, Sydney Rhame is an accomplished guitarist and pianist who has performed for more than 200 audiences throughout the country since the age of eight. A prolific songwriter in the acoustic pop-rock genre, Sydney’s body of work includes more than 100 original songs thus far. All ages – young and old – can relate to her songwriting.

Celebrating their 10th year as one of independent music’s most substantive bands, Louisville’s Coliseum return with their fourth full-length, the stunning Sister Faith. She has appeared on national TV and done interviews with Ellen DeGeneres, Jay Leno, and Anderson Cooper not to mention being a finalist on American Idol’s 11th Season. She received heartfelt accolades from Stevie Nicks and Steven Tyler on her abilities and talent…..she even got to shake hands with President Bill Clinton in the whirlwind that has been her life recently. Even with all the buzz and hype, Elise continues to be focused on creating beautiful music and is surrounding herself with an excellent band that she deftly leads through soulful and intricate compositions that are resonating with bigger and bigger audiences as she enters this exciting next chapter of her life.
Black Taxi @ The Drunken Unicorn
BLACK TAXI is one of NYC’s most prominent live acts, smashing an anything-goes punk ethos together with pop sensibilities and unparalleled energy. The result is a raucous stage show, heavy on harmonies, spitfire guitar licks, body paint, and all manner of instrumentation. Their style has been described varyingly as “grit-pop” or “dance punk”, and though their songs hint at the Talking Heads, Cake, and Daft Punk, they are driven by something entirely new and infectious.

Ocho and Christ, Lord are two Atlanta bands. Two Atlanta bands in love. With each other, with themselves, with making wild all dude love smile piles while Maddy sets the mood with her vibraphone. Out of this tangle of bodies and music is a 12 headed baby named OCHO LORD. 24 hands playing accordian, two electric guitars, trumpet, electric bass,stand up bass, two drum sets, percussion, tuba, vibraphone and keys.

Most recently as a duo, Daryl Hall & John Oates released their first box set, Do What You Want, Be What You Are: The Music of Daryl Hall & John Oates. The box set marks the first comprehensive multi-CD, multi-label deluxe box set compilation ever assembled from their entire career’s work, four CDs containing 74 tracks (16 of them previously unreleased).

ARSIS, which derived its name from the musical term “arsis and thesis” meaning unstressed (up-) and stressed (down-) beats respectively, makes music that is righteously tinged with black & thrash metal influences, but is completely dedicated to expanding the reaches of melodicism and technicality in the genre of death metal.
