Hello, frosty friends! We hope you were all safe and warm in your homes yesterday. If the last couple of snow days have given you cabin fever, we’ve got the cure.
Carrie Rodriguez @ Eddie’s Attic
At each stage of Carrie Rodriguez’s career—as a fiddler, singer, and songwriter—the Austin, Texas, native has learned the importance of letting go. That was certainly true when it came to recording her fifth solo album, Give Me All You Got, her first of largely original tunes in several years. Steeping back from writing in the past inspired her to write again… and we think her writing will inspire you to get out of your house tonight!
Doors at 6:30pm. Tickets are $14.
Mockingbird Sun @ Eddie’s Attic
Charlie, Brett and Truck have been strongly influenced by a variety of music icons from Hank Williams to Tom Petty. The band draws from the slow blue heat of vintage country to whiskey-washed folk and classic American rock and roll. They write and play what they love with a Texas twang and a Tennessee twist. Last week, we got to talk to them about their show tonight. Check it out.
SHOW UPDATE: The Mockingbird Sun show tonight is being rescheduled due to flight cancellations. Ticket holders will be notified of the new date as soon as it has been confirmed with the band. Ticket Holders may request a refund from Ticket Alternative at 877-725-8849 until 2 weeks after the show has been rescheduled.

RBTS WIN w/ Waking Astronomer @ 529

It’s a fantastic study of electronica, pop, rock, chillwave and trip hop that transcends all of those elements and surfaces in a new place. Lush, rhythmic, star-lit, cool and expansive it manages to both suck the air from the room and breathe into space. Be prepared.
Doors at 9pm. Tickets are $5 in advance.
Finally, Comrade Blue w/ Neil Cribbs @ Vinyl has been postponed! We’ll keep you posted with the new date!
