We start off this Thanksgiving week with a healthy dose of music and comedy, so step out of the cold and into an evening show!
An Evening with Emily Kinney @ Eddie’s Attic
Emily Kinney is an actor and songwriter best known for her role as Beth Greene on AMC’s hit television series The Walking Dead. Kinney’s musical talents have been featured on TV, in musical theater, and in her own releases. With the release of Expired Love, Kinney fully realizes her musical identity and firmly establishes herself in the indie-pop world.
Doors at 6pm. Tickets $10 in advance, $14 at the door. Table seats are $12.50 in advance or $16.50 at the door. Online and phone sales close at 5 pm.
Catch 23: Atlanta’s Friendliest Comedy Death Match @ The EARL
Catch 23 is an improvised Comedy Deathmatch. Three teams of improvisers battle it out in four rounds. They each have 23 minutes to use over the course of the night – no more; no less – with nothing but a 1 minute warning to guide them. Each scene is judged on a ten point scale, with five points given by the audience and five by a judge.
Doors at 8:30. Tickets are $5. Online and phone sales end at 6pm.
Chance the Rapper @ Center Stage
A 19 year old Rap Master from Chicago, Chance The Rapper first made some noise on the Chicago hip-hop blog Fake Shore Drive with his video for Nostalgia in early 2011. Since then Chance has building a steady buzz, with packed out listening parties, the full release of his premiere mixtape 10 Day, and a sold out live show at Chicago’s Lincoln Hall.
This show is sold out. Doors at 7pm.
