Songwriter’s Open Mic at Eddies Attic
If you love to listen to the newest artists to hit the A-Town music scene be sure to check out Songwriter’s Open Mic. For over 19 years, national and local artists have had the opportunity to perform two songs each, and finalists return for a third song, a chance to win a cash prize and a spot in the nationally acclaimed bi-annual Open Mic Shootout.
General Admission Tickets are $5 in advance, $6 at the door. Table seats are $6.25 and must be purchases in groups of 4. Online and phone sales close at 5pm on the day of the show. Doors open at 7pm.
Bishop Allen with Special Guests at The EARL
This indie-rock duo, Justin Rice and Christian Rudder, along with their cast of musical collaborators is back with their newest album, Lights Out. The group was founded in 2003 out of Rice and Rudder’s friendship and borrows its name from the Cambridge, Massachusetts street on which they lived. Just over 10 years later, the band has released its fourth album, which will definitely not disappoint!

Crocodiles with SISU at 529
Brandon Welchez and Charles Rowell make up Crocodiles, a duo that began when the two were 18 in San Diego. They now split their time between London and New York and just released their latest record, Crimes of Passion. Tonight they are accompanied by SISU, fronted by Sandra Vu. SISU began in the psych rock scene and is a mix of beautiful and dark sounds. Their debut album, Blood Tears, is sure to astound you!
