Atlanta Music Guide hung backstage at Virginia Highland Summerfest this past weekend, courtesy of Rival Entertainment. In addition to a great musical lineup both days, the beer was flowing, and the food was fantastic. Cowboy Mouth got the whole crowd sitting down at Saturday night and Manchester Orchestra proved to be serious a crowd puller on Sunday. Questions about whether the band were too cool for a festival were quenched as the band rocked the hometown crowd, winning over new fans along the way. Also on Sundays bill were Ponderosa and The Constellations.
While this photo doesn't really sum up the festival, we thought it was funny. Can't wait for next year.
