Yelawolf combines his dirty south roots with an obvious appreciation for 90’s West Coast rap, and churns out tunes to get down and bop your head to all night long. Growing up all over the southern U.S., Yelawolf started out as a skateboarder on his way to becoming a pro. Unfortunately (at the time) after one too many injuries, something had to change. Lucky for the rapper, he had a less dangerous talent just waiting to take over. We’re not saying skating isn’t rad, but we think his fans are happy – and let’s face it – onstage injuries are far less common than on the half pipe.
