Burgeoning superstar JUSTIN NOZUKA currently has the #1 most played video on VH1, and if that wasn’t enough, MTV’s TRL is giving the “After Tonight” video a ‘First Look’ this afternoon! TRL is airing right now on on MTV.
There is no stopping Nozuka as he steadily climbs the Heatseekers and Independent charts each week, moving from last week’s #31 to #19 this week on the Heatseekers chart, and from #71 to #52 on the Independent chart. His debut, Holly, was recorded while the soulful singer/songwriter was only 17 years old and has sold over 11,000 copies to date, with over 53,000 digital tracks sold.
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY dubbed Justin Nozuka as a “most promising male singer-songwriter,” and PEOPLE MAGAZINE urges “John Mayer should start looking over his shoulder: This 19-year-old impresses with the acoustic soul on his debut.” VH1 has also named the 19 year old a “You Oughta Know – Artist On The Rise.”
Nozuka recently kicked off a five-week tour with Marie Digby and Eric Hutchinson last month, which included sold out nights in Boston and New York City. The tour wraps on June 23rd in Sacramento, CA, and with Nozuka’s increasing popularity, each date is expected to be jammed wall-to-wall.
