Love electronic music? Well you’re in luck, because Dave Angel & DJ Pierre make their way to The Music Room in Atlanta 4/18!
The Phutur3 is a concept developed by Acid House/House legend DJ Pierre. The purpose of this international event concept is to create a platform for legendary artists, current artists and the unknown future stars. They’ve played hosts to legends such as Doc Martin, Mike Dearborn, Kevin Saunderson, Roy Davis Jr, and local Atlanta talent like Corey Von Waters, Dee Washington, DJ Kemit and Ralph & Louie.
On April 18th, record label Afro Acid presents Phutur3 featuring Dave Angel and DJ Pierre with an opening set by Corduroy Mavericks. With two of underground dance music’s pioneering producers and DJ’s, this is an intimate and once in a lifetime event you can’t miss!
The UK’s Dave Angel has been sculpting the soundscape of techno and tech-house for over 20 years with releases on Halocyan Records, Bedrock and his own Rotation Records. Angel will be celebrating his newest release “Incoming Volume 1” on Halocyan Records at The Music Room. Joining him is the DJ and Producer DJ Pierre, most known for his Acid House creations. DJ Pierre has also played Phutur3 with previously stated legend Doc Martin. Their back to back set played past the 4 AM mark.
Also make sure you don’t miss out on Corduroy Mavericks! This producer from Lexington, KY has credits for labels such as Hardkiss Music, Drop and Tango, and has been hailed as the Phutur3 of house music.
