Phutur3 is a concept developed by Acid House/House legend DJ Pierre. It’s an international event with the purpose of creating a platform for legendary artists, current artists and the unknown future stars to show themselves. One of these artists is Mike Dearborn, a Chicago legend who will be appearing in Atlanta for the first time at The Music Room on March 21.
Dearborn’s studio production and record release credits date back to 1991 with his first release on Muzique Records for the legendary Chicago DJ and producer, Armando. In 1992 he started writing tracks for the European powerhouse label Djax-Up-Beats who helped define what is now considered pure techno. Mike’s productions credits continued to accumulate over the next 20 years earning him releases on major techno labels such as Bush, Tronic, Studio K7, and his own label, Majesty Recordings. After DJing all over the world, he fits perfectly into the Phutur3 concept and Atlanta is proud to welcome him to our stage.
Phutur3 has hosted legends such as Kevin Saunderson, Roy Davis Jr, Doc Martin and local Atlanta talent such as Corey Von Waters, Dee Washington aka AJHENDA, DJ Kemit and Ralph & Louie.
This will be a fantastic event you won’t want to miss – come check out one of techno’s most legendary musicians at the intimate setting of The Music Room on March 21st!
Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Show is at 10pm.
