The group will perform their electro/pop/rock platinum smash single Shake It along with other material from their self-titled debut album at Masquerade on November 9th – Click for Tickets. Shake It has been a breakthrough hit for the group. The single made it to #4 on the Billboard top 40, and the video was in the top 10 on MTV’s TRL.
The Disco Balls and Blow Up Dolls tour is the group’s first major outing as a headliner. They built up to their success with a busy summer schedule that saw them play on the Soundtrack of Your Summer Tour 2008 with Columbia Records label-mates Boys Like Girls and Good Charlotte. Metro Station’s second single, Seventeen Forever, was included on the soundtrack for summer blockbuster film Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2. Jimmy Kimmel welcomed the band as his guest for the September 4 taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the group also performed Shake It on Good Morning America.
