For the third year now, Manchester Orchestra is doing The Stuffing, a day before Thanksgiving concert, at Center Stage. The event will be split between Center Stage’s three rooms: Vinyl, The Loft, and Center Stage Theater. Thirteen bands have made the lineup between the different rooms, including Manchester Orchestra themselves, Cage the Elephant, Grouplove, and Death on two Wheels.
Several names will be back from years past including Kevin Devine and Gobotron. Popularity has driven the price up each year, but at just $32.50, the ticket prices still remain reasonable for all the names coming to Center Stage on Wednesday.
Most of the acts are associated with Favorite Gentlemen Records, Manchester Orchestra’s label. The label was started by Manchester Orchestra members, and has since taken on other indie bands. Since the band is from Atlanta, and the label base is in Atlanta, Center Stage was chosen as the venue to hold The Stuffing.
Last year, the show sold out, so jump on tickets soon, and make The Stuffing part of your Thanksgiving plans!
To make this event even better, special addition posters will be on sale at the concert, and all the money will go towards Southern Animal Rescue. Two cans of food will also get you a free raffle ticket where you could win merchandise from the bands.
So prepare for your Turkey day plans with The Stuffing at Center Stage. The show starts at 5 p.m. and is open to all ages.
