Side projects between “indie” musicians have become a popular trend recently. With bands like Monsters of Folk, Broken Bells, the Postal Service, Mister Heavenly, Diamond Rugs and even Broken Social Scene all being considered “supergroups,” it’s hard not to love these collaborations. Recently, another amazing development has been added to the list: Divine Fits. Formed earlier this year by Britt Daniel from Spoon, Dan Boeckner from Handsome Furs and Wolf Parade, and Sam Brown from New Bomb Turks, the band has been winning critics and fans over with their high energy live performance and their debut album “A Thing Called Divine Fits.” Since their August release, Divine Fits has basically done nothing but tour, tour, and tour. This Monday, October 29th, marks Divine Fits’ first Atlanta show at Terminal West with Cold Cave. Tickets are still available here: http://ticketalternative.com/Events/20708.aspx
It’ll be a hard one to miss!
