Electronic dance music (EDM) fans decked in neon and glowsticks traveled from all over the southeast to experience Liquified and Disco Donnie’s Magnetic Music Festival at Fifth-Third Bank Stadium at Kennesaw State University. The weather was perfect as three state-of-the-art visual and audio stages hosted over 30 DJs and thousands of fans for 10 hours of performances from some of today’s hottest electronic DJs.
With so many great artists performing at the same time throughout the day, it was hard to choose which stage to be at and when. I kicked off my day with local DJ, Midnite Panda, at the Enchanted Village stage. His set really amped me up for the rest of the day. Afterward I made my way over to the Magnetic Forcefield stage as the stadium was starting to fill up to see explosive sets by Kazell and Tommie Sunshine.
I spent the next few hours over at the Digital Distortion stage, which seemed to get more and more magical as the sun went down over Kennesaw. The visuals and lasers were on point with the audio and the lineup was perfect. Flosstradamus, Funtcase, Adventure Club and Zeds Dead? Wow.
Magnetic rounded out the day with two mind-blowing and unforgettable performances by Flux Pavilion and Kid Cudi. Both artists had hundreds of fans going wild with their hands in the air until 11 p.m.
