News Headlines
Smith's Olde Bar will hold a tribute on March 31st at 7pm for Angela Todd, a local musician who will be greatly missed. Angela passed away in a car accident this past January, and in order to help her family pay for mounting burial and funeral costs, musicians such as Bain Mattox, Alan Yates, Clay Cook, and Elizabeth Elkins of The Swear will be performing.

Compound Atlanta's most luxurious night spot opens it's doors Friday March 27th.

Stellastarr* is having an in-store performance at Criminal Records at 6pm this Thursday March 25th, before their show at the Cotton Club that night.

Good Friday Experiment won the final round of the Miller Lite Band Competition last Friday to win a place in the finals on March 26th at the Cotton Club. The band will compete with this years other winners, Linger, Arlington, and Heavy Mojo for a spot on the local stage at Music Midtown. Last years winners To Whom It Concerns and local lads Dropsonic will also perform. Doors open early, and Heavy Mojo are on first at 9pm. 

Newly formed Atlanta-based label Goodnight Records launches this month with two releases in April from Askeleton and The Orphins. Askeleton will be touring with Minus the Bear in May-June, and The Orphins' CD release party is April 29th at the EARL with Elf Power. Their records will be available nationwide through Stickfigure distribution.

The POST-MODern video night has been resurrected at the East Side Lounge in East Atlanta. Back with a new host and new videos you'll get the best of everything from The Small Faces, to Oasis, Hot Hot Heat and more, every Monday from 11pm - close.
