American alternative rock band, The Gaslight Anthem, releases their fifth studio album, Get Hurt. Prior to release, the album earned some momentum on the alternative airwaves for their single “Rollin’ and Tumblin'”. Get Hurt features 12 brand new songs from the band. After eight long years, hip hop group Dilated Peoples are finally dropping another album together. Directors of Photography is a 16 track album that features a slew of other artists, including rising star, Aloe Blacc. Porter Robinson – Worlds (Astralwerks)
Worlds is the debut album from a rising star in the EDM world, Porter Robinson. Robinson, who calls home Chapel Hill, North Carolina home, began producing at age 12 and earned notoriety by age 18. This album is rumored to be a variation from the style fans have come to expect from Porter Robinson, it’s highly anticipated nonetheless. Psychedelic hip hop group, The Underachievers, are a duo out of Brooklyn, New York. The twosome formed a musical alliance in 2011 after meeting in Brooklyn in 2007. Sinéad O’Connor has been spreading music since she rose to fame in the 1980’s. I’m Not Bossy, I’m the Boss is the tenth studio album of the veteran rock star. Her last album, Lay Your Head Down, won a World Soundtrack Award for Best Original Song Written Directly for a Film. FKA twigs – LP1 (Young Turks)
Tahliah Barnett is a experimental English singer-songwriter who’s better known by her stage name, FKA twigs. FKA Twigs music combines elements of trip hop, dream pop and PBR&B. She made her musical debut with her first release, EP1, back in 2012. Her second release came in September 2013, when she dropped EP2. Formed in 2010, in Nottingham, England, Lacuna is the debut album from Childhood. The indie pop, four-piece outfit formed when a couple of the members were studying at University of Nottingham.
