This week a lot of great artists released new albums.
Dolly Parton released Backwoods Barbie, her first mainstream country album in 17 years, on her own label Dolly Records. Parton had to reschedule several stops- including Atlanta- on her upcoming tour, in promotion of the album. Those new tour dates should be announced soon.
Janet Jackson‘s 10th album release, Discipline, is her first album since joining Island Def Jam Records. The music icon has been on a whirl wind press tour to promote the album, including taking over Times Square earlier this week for a performance on Good Morning America.
New Artist Ludo also released their debut album, You’re Awful, I Love You, with Island Records. The St. Louis rockers are on the road in support of their new album as well as opening for Presidents of the United States of America.
