The final countdown to Music Midtown 2015 is here, and we’re just three days away from one of Atlanta’s favorite music festivals! This year boasts a star-studded and diverse lineup, with headliners Elton John, Drake, Van Halen, Sam Smith, Lenny Kravitz, Hozier, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Run The Jewels, Billy Idol and more!
To make sure you’re prepared for the upcoming weekend of music, we’ve put together all the things you need to know before you go to Music Midtown 2015!
Tickets
Tickets are still available at musicmidtown.com!
General Admission tickets grant admission to the festival both Friday and Saturday. 2-Day VIP tickets include separate Friday and Saturday wristbands, dedicated entrances, preferred viewing areas at the Electric Ballroom, Honda and Belk Stages, an exclusive lounge with access to complimentary beer, wine and food concessions, private air-conditioned restrooms and the first opportunity to purchase VIP in 2016. 2-Day Super VIP includes all of the VIP goodies above in addition to valet parking, air-conditioned luxury lounge located at the Electric Ballroom Stage, full open bar, access to specialty catering by Zac Brown’s Southern Ground, exclusive viewing decks, a Music Midtown tee + poster, and first opportunity to purchase Super VIP in 2016.
General Admission – $125 + fees
2-Day VIP – $600 + fees
2-Day Super VIP – $1200 + fees
***For all orders placed after September 9 please exchange your ticket for a wristband from Tuesday, September 15th – Thursday, September 17th from 10AM to 6PM at the Dockside Building in Piedmont Park, located at the 12th Street entrance.
Entrances
There are five entrances into the festival grounds:
- Charles Allen Gate is located at the corner of 10th Street and Charles Allen Drive
- Park Drive / Bridge Gate is accessible from Monroe and Park Drive
- Lakeside Gate is accessible from the 14th Street entrances into Piedmont Park or by Magnolia Hall
- 10th Street Gate is located across from Grady High School
- 12th Street Gate is located at 12th Street and Piedmont
Box Office
The box office will open on Friday, September 18th at 10AM at both the Dockside Building and the main Box Office.

What To Bring:
- One factory-sealed bottle of water OR one empty reusable water bottle
- Purses and bags no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″ (subject to search at gate)
- Blankets
What NOT To Bring:
- Backpacks/Camelbaks
- Roller-skates/blades, bikes, scooters, skateboards
- Chairs of any kind
- Outside food items
- Weapons of any kind
- Pets (except service dogs)
- Illegal or illicit substances of any kind
- Metal aerosol cans, including sunscreen
- Carts
- Tents
- Coolers
- No unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed
- No unauthorized solicitations, handbills, sampling, giveaways, etc.
Parking & Transportation
Cars are so 2014
Driving to the festival is not recommended, as there are very limited parking options available. Be aware that surrounding residential streets will be closed to non-residents. Parking will not be available for Music Midtown on 10th Street or in the Grady High School parking lot on 10th Street.
MARTA is Smarta
The nearest MARTA Stations are Midtown and Arts Center, both located just a few blocks from the Park. For directions on how to get to the festival from both of these stations, click here, or just follow the hordes of people in festival gear.
Be Hip & Bike
There will be a complimentary Bike Valet located at Grady Circle on 10th Street where an attendant will be on hand during the festival to monitor the bicycle parking area.
Uber/Lyft Your Way
If you’ve been living under a rock and don’t have Uber yet, new Uber users can receive $20 off their first ride by downloading the Uber app and signing up with promo code ‘MusicMidtown2015’.
