Tomorrow night Smith's Olde Bar will be oozing with love and happiness with Little Joy, a band usually made up of Fabrizio Moretti, Rodrigo Amarante and Binki Shapiro. Though Fabrizio will be off recording with The Strokes, the other two thirds of the band will be there with Todd Dahlhoff and Matt Borg (from The Dead Trees), Matt Romano (from Albert Hammond Jr's band) and
Jack Dishel (from Only Son) helping out.
The band's music is utterly charming, in a gloriously sunny Beach Boys kind of a way, exemplified perfectly in the above home-movies-style video for "Next Time Around."
