Abraham Orellana, better known to fans as AraabMuzik, is an American hip hop record producer of Dominican and Guatemalan descent. From Providence, Rhode Island, he first rose to fame after showcasing his skills of making live beats and instrumentals on a MPC (music production center) drum machine on the internet. Being known to use MPC, he has the ability to produce rapid, rhythmic drum patterns as well as making melodies using various samples and other sounds all at once. He has used samples from a wide variety of music, including electro, dubstep, gabber, and trance music.
We caught up with AraabMuzik for an interview, check out what he had to say!
How did you come up with the name, AraabMuzik?
Good friend of mine gave me the name. At first he used to call me young Araab. Then we added the Muzik.
How does For Professional Use Only differ from your other albums/projects?
PUO isn’t a album its a mixtape. It’s very different.. The mixtape has more variety of genres.
What would be your dream gig?
Headlining and selling out arenas worldwide
What artists / bands have you been listening to lately?
No one in particular. A mixture of a few people.
If you bought music today, what would you buy? A record, a CD or an MP3?

What advice would you give to an aspiring musician?
Go hard until you achieve your goal in life. Don’t quit and don’t let anyone take your confidence away from you.
What are your plans for the remainder of 2013?
More classic music for my fans.
