Happy Friday, everyone! Kick off your weekend with some awesome new music releases from rock, alternative and rap artists!
Foo Fighters – “What Did I Do?/God As My Witness”
Die-hard Foo Fighter fans have probably been following their HBO series called Sonic Highways, but for those who have not heard about this unique project yet then it is definitely something to check out! The next episode is Austin-themed and thus called for the release of “What Did I Do?/God As My Witness” release that features Austin’s own Gary Clark, Jr. The music was even recorded in Austin, TX and features the band’s unique, hard rocking sound.
“What Did I Do?/God As My Witness” is including in the band’s eight album, Sonic Highways, whose full tracklist can be seen here!
OK Go – “I Won’t Let You Down”
Although OK Go‘s music video for “I Won’t Let You Down” was released on October 27th, the music video has raced up the Hot Rock Songs chart to gain attention from fans and the media alike. The band is known for their viral videos including “Here It Goes Again” and has seemed to created another winner as this new song debuted at #7. 93% of the chart points came from U.S. YouTube views, so make sure you check out Honda-produced, monthly-rehearsed synchronized choreography of “I Won’t Let You Down”.
Check out other tracks from OK Go’s latest album, Hungry Ghosts, to predict the next big hit here!
Drake & Future – “Never Satisfied
“Never Satisfied” seemed to have been the case for Drake, who asked for the track to be excluded from Future‘s latest album, Honest. Fans of the rappers can now thank Mike Will Made It though, since he released the full version on his SoundCloud yesterday. Billboard detailed how Future’s album ended up being quite short because of the lack of songs like “Never Satisfied” and “Good Kush and Alcohol”, which was given to Lil Wayne and ended up being a chart-topper.
