The British rockers are back! Coldplay‘s new album Viva La Vida will be released in North America on June 17, and rumor has it available through digital retailers before that. Their first single, "Violet Hill," will be available to download for free on the band’s official website for one week, starting on Tuesday, April 29 at 7:15 AM EDT, the same day the single hits radio.
Also tomorrow via their website, Coldplay will release details regarding their upcoming free show in New York City at Madison Square Garden on June 23. Since this is a free show, no tickets will be sold- they can only be won. Coldplay will also play a free show across the pond at Brixton Academy in London on June 16.
