The Free Byrds knock a home run out of the park every time they play. Their energy and persona shine through a dim room or a bright hot sunny day. They are contagious, and unlike any band you will see. The guys play songs by The Beatles, Stones, CASH, CCR, U2, The White Stripes, Joe Cocker, The Black Crowes and many more.
The band has “IT” and is surely the next big thing to come out of the Atlanta area. Singer Nick Howrey is a young, energetic Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney, Muddy Waters, Steven Tyler and Elvis all rolled up into one amazing soulful, bluesy, rock and roll spirit with a voice like none you’ve ever heard. Gavin Krick on guitar has the audience screaming with every note he touches on his Les Paul guitar. Gavin has been influenced by Hendrix, Richards, and Page, and it comes out in his incredibly soulful, yet powerful leads that have the audience screaming his name when he is in the spotlight. And, Ryan Taylor (drums) and Robbie Edomondson (bass) stay in a pocket so tight you couldn’t even put a pin through it enabling Nick and Gavin to shine with musical melodies that with have you dancing, singing, smiling and clapping along for the entire show. And, as those that have experienced a live set know, they have a following that makes every show a great, fun event to be a part of. Don’t miss out! Plus, they have killer originals that will be huge soon nationally!
