Unshaken – charity: water’s campaign for Haiti from charity: water on Vimeo.
We always love rocking out for a good cause. If you do too, then look no further than Vinyl on April 9, when Elevation will be joined by The Goodfight and The Less for a gig raising money for the fantastic Charity: Water organization.
Here’s a little bit of info from Vinyl:
Right now over 1 billion people in the world do not have access to safe, clean drinking water. That’s 1 in 6 of us. On April 9th at Vinyl [Center Stage], three of Atlanta’s most promising rock and roll bands will try to shrink that number. A benefit show for charity: water… All proceeds from the door and donations received will go towards building wells and providing the dying and thirsty with not only water, but life. In addition, the Goodfight will give 100% of their record sales towards the cause.
From TGF’s new project buy a record save a life, to Elevation’s recent MTVU award, to the freshmen collaborative effort of The Less with Collective Soul’s Ed Roland… This might be the most exciting local bill of the year. Not to mention you’ll be saving a life simply by showing up.
