Dan Deacon at The Drunken Unicorn

Self proclaimed “a growing, a great gathering of moss”, Dan Deacon is an electronic musician best know for his killer live performances. When we say killer live performance, we mean it. Deacon once got a crowd of 10,000 people to get into a crazy dance competition at an Occupy Wall Street rally in Union Square. He has released 8 albums on several different labels, and he is an extremely talented composer not to be confused with other DJs in the business who only push buttons for a living.

Drake White and The Big Fire with Alex Guthrie at Eddie’s Attic

Drake White, named one of Billboard Magazine’s Top 10 Country Artists to Watch in 2013 is an old-soul, who writes timeless songs. His lyrics reflect his mantra of making the very most of every moment. 2013 marked White’s debut on the legendary Grand Ole Opry stage and saw the release of his first single “The Simple Life,” which landed in the top 40 on the Billboard Country Chart. Part poet, philosopher and backwoods rabble-rouser, White, who is originally from Hokes Bluff, Alabama, has a unique ability to tap into the emotions of fans.

Joseph Dalton Michael, better known as Huey Mack, is an American hip-hop artist who He started writing music as a joke at the age of 14 to pass the time while he was attending Morgantown High School. He soon stopped writing and took a few years off as he never saw it being a career just something that he did as a “joke”. He released his first free mixtape “Wish Me Luck” at the age of 18, which led to a following some described as “cult-like”, opening the door to the releases of a few more mixtapes. “A Boy Named Hue” held the number three spot on iTunes’ rap/hip hop charts even being released as a free download.

Weedeater with Dropout and Wolves with Jackals at The EARL

With a sound and presence like no other band in the world, Weedeater stand apart from all others, both live and on their recordings. You are instantly swallowed whole by both Dixie and Shep’s nearly indistinguishable monster bass and guitar tones, and you are absolutely beaten to a bloody pulp and scared for your life by Keko’s crazed, yet amazingly potent bashing of his kit with sticks that look like tree trunks turning into a splintered mess by the end of every song.
