Rockford, Ill.’s power-pop institution, Cheap Trick, have an undisputed legacy of four decades of continuous touring and widespread influence in both the hard rock and alt-rock communities. This is a band that built their name (and had their first taste of mainstream success with 1978’s Cheap Trick at Budokan) on their live show. If you’ve never seen them, now is the time to take the opportunity to see one of rock’s greatest live bands in the intimate environs of the lovely Buckhead Theatre. If you have seen them, you know this is a show not to be missed.
If that isn’t enough to convince you, the show is a benefit, raising money for the World Wildlife Fund and Coca-Cola’s Arctic Home holiday campaign, which aids conservation efforts to create safe havens for polar bears. Cute, adorable, Coca-Cola-loving polar bears, people! $15.00 of each ticket will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund, up to $22,500.
Tickets to the show are $31 (general admission) and $46 (reserved). Doors are at 7:00 p.m., and the show starts at 8:00 p.m., with Atlanta’s excellent Biters opening, a young band with great tunes, obviously influenced by Cheap Trick.
So to recap: a not lame opening act, a legendary headliner, a guaranteed fun night, and no homeless polar bears! Shake off the post-Christmas malaise and get out of the house!

have grown, Music has change as well. I love to think of the greatest memories that come with each song made.Your had the greatest tunes made at that time. A live, energetic.. like no other.

sorry to say Robin Zander..lead singer, i can’t say just how gorgous you use to once be. in many of photos.. But now.. all i can say.. What Happened??? your hair is way toooo flat. Maybe you need some bangs again.. or a new shorter style. I really have to say that every one else looks sharp.. Sorry man.. didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. just being honest. It just makes you look very old in this newer look of yours.
