Calling all bands and musicians in the state of Georgia! Chipotle Mexican Grill is teaming up with SweetWater 420 Fest to host Cultivate Beats – a battle of the bands style competition that offers Georgia’s singers, guitarists, drummers and the like, a chance to put their talent to the test for stage time at this year’s festival. As presenting sponsor of the competition, Chipotle’s partnership with SweetWater 420 Fest mirrors the company’s commitment to support local community initiatives, especially those that celebrate the local food supply, musicians and arts programs.
To enter, bands simply need to visit www.sweetwater420fest.com/cultivatebeats/ and follow the instructions to fill out an entry and submission form before 5:00 pm eastern time February 28, 2013. Bands will be judged by an internal panel, and the top 10 will move forward to online voting in early March, allowing viewers one vote per day. SweetWater will host the top four acts at the brewery on March 28 to compete in a final battle open to the public. The winning act will perform live on Saturday at 420 Fest and receive VIP credentials for the band, green room accommodations with guest passes, and a one night hotel stay.
