You have probably already heard the live version of Black Lips' "The Drop I Hold," featuring GZA of Wu-Tang Clan fame (you haven't??? Well, download it here), recorded at SXSW, and now there's a video (above) to go along with the original version of the song (sans GZA I'm afraid). The GZA-accompanied version will also be released as part of The Drop I Hold EP, available only on iTunes. The EP will also have the originaly album track, an instrumental and the video, and will be avaiable for the first week for $1.99.
The band will also be playing at The EARL on July 2 with yet-to-be-announced special guests. Tickets (which are already selling fast) are available here.
