The idea behind this site is to try and shed some light on the more 'indie' bands that are playing around Atlanta each week. We want to highlight bands that might not normally get a mention, unless the 'heirarchy' decide to do so. The Creative Loafing, although it has recently expanded its Vibes section, still forgets too many bands, and is only published once a week, in-print & online. Monthly publications such as Stomp and Stammmer and Sideshow are also out of date very quickly.

This site gets updated every day ! Check it as you walk out the door. Make sure there have been no time changes or cancellations. Bored on a Tuesday night ? use this site to flip through our concert picks. Local music scenes thrive on word of mouth, and two extra people showing up to support an 'unknown' band can help make all the difference.

We need loads of input from everyone out there. Our staff of writers are out attending many shows. Bands need to let us know their schedules, clubs need to let us know their lineups and any last-minute changes. Email us or fax our office (404) 254.2749

Why this site ?

We talked to local bands, promoters, and clubs and found everyone wanting a more concise, accurate, up to date site. There are many sites out there, but if no one reads them, they are useless. Many are too extensive, and too confusing, and only of any use to other bands, not the general public. Our site will be concise, and exciting. We going to concentrate on the 10 main clubs in town where local indie bands play - if you are worried who the acoustic duo is at CJ's tonight - then this site is not for you. But if you want to know why there were 300 people in the Earl last Monday night, and you didn't know about the show - Dive in !!
