Having moved back to its original home at Grant Park, the 32nd Atlanta Jazz Festival is set to take place on Memorial weekend, May 23-24, with the 31 Days of Jazz taking place throughout the whole month of May.
The festival weekend itself promises to be a smash, with music from Rialto All Starts, Russell Gunn & Bektrik Butterfly, Freddy Cole, Mausiki Scales, Cindy Blackman (drummer for Lenny Kravitz), Hiroshima and more, including local acts Jaspects and Gritz & Jelly Butter.
Ticket Alternative will be selling tickets for three events taking place during the 31 Days of Jazz, tickets for all of which can be bought here. Russell Gunn & Elektrik Butterfly will be playing at the Southwest Atlanta Arts Center on May 8, there will be Jazzy Cocktail Soiree at the Celebrity Golf Course International in Tucker on May 15, and on May 23 there will be a Late Night Jazz Jam Featuring Jaspects at the W Atlanta Downtown Hotel.
