Saturday, June 12 – Jessica Lea Mayfield, Among the Oak and Ash, The District Attorneys at the Star Bar
Love at first sight. That’s what happens the second Jessica Lea Mayfield walks onto the stage. Then she starts singing and immediately you get a vision of how perfect life would be if could spend it listening to her sing. We don’t want to call it an obsession, but lordy – Jessica Lea Mayfield does something to us that we just can’t explain. It’s good though, oh it’s good. Among the Oak and Ash, featuring Josh Joplin and Garrison Starr singing Appalachian murder ballads take the middle slot and ATL locals the District Attorneys open.
