AMG Weekend Picks: Tandoori Knights, Gringo Star, Lykke Li and More!

Things are a little mellow this weekend, probably with everyone gearing up for the big Turkey Fest coming up next week. But there is still a ton of incredible shows, and a donka-truck-tonnage of tickets going on sale, so you can get some Christmas shopping done too (and pick yourself up something nice while you’re at it). And, in non-music news, Kids in the Hall’s wonderful Dave Foley will be doing stand up comedy Thursday through Sunday at the Laughing Skull.

King Khan & BBQ Show, the Black Lips, the Almighty Defenders, King Khan & the Shrines… the list of bands associated with Arish Ahmad Khan goes on and on. And now we have a new one! Khan teams up with Bloodshot Bill to create Tandoori Knights, and they come to Atlanta tonight.

Some of Atlanta’s most talented musicians make up the Last Waltz Ensemble and play the lovely tunes of The Band, Bob Dylan and anything else related to this musical behemoths.
