Friday, January 10 – Nashville Hit-Writers @ Eddie’s Attic
If you watch TV, go to the movies, or listen to the radio, you probably already know these artists in some form or fashion… Jim Parker, Jill Colucci, Pam Rose and Chuck Jones will come together for a memorable evening of country singer/songwriter-ness at Eddie’s Attic, presented by Music Bottling Company.
Doors at 6pm. Tickets are $15 in advance. Online and phone sales end at 5pm.
Friday, January 10 – Patrick Davis @ Eddie’s Attic
Last year found Patrick Davis diligently writing, recording and producing music for both himself and others. Davis’ near constant writing, playing and recording schedule has garnered hit songs, growing crowds and musical collaborations with industry heavyweights. He’s scaled his tour schedule back recently meaning that seeing him as a headliner in Atlanta is kind of a rare treat!
Doors at 9pm. Tickets are $17 in advance. Online and phone sales end at 5pm.
Friday, January 10 – Smithsonian w/ DJ Millie @ 529
Go party in the EAV with Smithsonian, a band composed of five veterans of the Atlanta music scene united in their affection for the short but sweet career of The Smiths. Bret Busch on vocals, David Chase on bass, Brian Fletcher on drums, and Jim Prible and Lindell Todd on guitar are making their way through the entire Smiths catalog at 529!
Saturday, January 11 – Cate Le Bon @ Eddie’s Attic
Cate Le Bon hails from Carmarthenshire, rural West Wales and is currently a resident of Highland Park, Los Angeles, having relocated to record her new album. She wrote most of the album in her Welsh homeland but we’re happy to give it a listen on this side of the pond.
This show is sold out– hopefully you scored your tickets in advance!
Saturday, January 11 – Eliot Bronson @ Eddie’s Attic
Eliot Bronson is the type of songwriter who could squeeze out something meaningful about taking out the trash. Up north, he was dubbed a “folk-singing wunderkind.” Bronson released his first solo record, Blackbirds, to wide critical acclaim and just released his second CD, Milwaukee, with backing band Yonder Orphans. Check him out.
Doors at 9pm. Tickets are $12 in advance.
Saturday, January 11 – Old School Saturday @ The Sheraton Atlanta
This monthly oldies fest is always a hit and tickets being SOLD OUT is entirely common! Get ’em while you can!

Sunday, January 12 – Iris DeMent @ Eddie’s Attic
DeMent is releasing her latest album Sing The Delta on her own label, Flariella Records. It was recorded in Nashville with a supporting cast that included Bryan Owings on drums, Dave Jacques on bass, Al Perkins on pedal steel and Reese Wynans on organ, as well as horn players Jim Hoke and Steve Herman on a couple of numbers. And what spectacular numbers they are!
