Friday, March 14- Delta Moon A Live Recording @ Eddie’s Attic
With a live show second-to-none, the dual slide guitars of Delta Moon carry the listener deep into the heart of the American South, where sinuous Mississippi blues meets the gritty backwoods twang of Appalachia and winds around a rock-steady beat like kudzu on a barbwire fence. Net Rhythms calls it “Music as it should be – raw and honest.” We call it Blues-Infused American Roots.

Friday, March 14- Keith Harkin @ Hard Rock Cafe’s Velvet Underground
As a lead singer and a songwriter for the vocal group phenomenon Celtic Thunder, Harkin has already scaled heights that few performers ever see: the Irish powerhouse has sold millions of albums and DVDs, performed at the White House, and was named Top World Music Artist by Billboard. But Harkin—a native of County Derry in Northern Ireland who began his performing career at the age of four—started out as a guitar-playing singer-songwriter, and with his self-titled debut solo album, he reveals an emotional range and eclectic sensibility that will surprise even the group’s most die-hard fans.

Friday, March 14- Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers @ Mill Town Music Hall
Over 50 years ago, Larry, Steve, and Rudy Gatlin started singing in their little hometown of Abilene, Texas, and from there went on to make music history. Over the course of a four-decade career that has taken the Gatlin Brothers from dusty Texas stages to White House performances, from Broadway to Grammy Awards to the top of the country charts, there has been one unifying element, music. There’s no harmony quite as pure as family harmony. “Gatlin harmonies spin with high and light precision and their music bleeds and screams of love and a lot of living” said Country Capsule in New York.

Rubby Velle and the Soulphonics are a modern R&B group based out of Atlanta, GA, and have been a slick addition to the local Atlanta scene since early 2008. Lead female vocalist Ruby Velle, is backed by a solid lineup, including a three piece horn section (trumpet, baritone sax, tenor sax) and rhythm section (B3 organ/keys, electric guitar, bass and drums).

Saturday, March 15- Meehan’s Shamrock & Roll with Ed Roland & The Sweet Tea Project @ Meehan’s- Sandy Springs
The Meehan’s, Rock 100.5 Shamrock & Roll returns to Meehan’s Public House in the City Walk at Sandy Springs shopping district on Saturday, March 15th. Come celebrate the patron Saint of Ireland with a special performance from Atlanta’s own Ed Roland & The Sweet Tea Project. Get there early and support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation as they shave heads to fund the search for a cure for childhood cancer. Then stick around as the St. Patrick’s Party kicks into full gear with live music, great food and of course Guinness Beer.

Saturday, March 15- RiRa St. Patrick’s Day @ RiRa The Irish Pub
RiRa The Irish Pub, Midtown’s only real Irish Pub is your in-town St. Patrick’s Party destination. Join Rock 100.5, RiRa and Guinness Beer as we celebrate all things green with the 4th annual RiRa St. Patrick’s Party and Street Festival, Saturday, March 15th. We are, once again, taking over Crescent Avenue to throw Midtown’s biggest and baddest St. Patrick’s Party. The party starts at 8am with a tradition Irish breakfast and live broadcast from Rock 100.5’s own Lyndsey Marie. The party kicks into full gear at 3pm when we throw open the gates and take over Crescent Avenue for a street party that will make the heartiest leprechaun green with envy. With live bands, a DJ, Irish Dancers, the Renaissance Festival’s kissing wenches and the perfect Guinness pints being poured all day, this is THE party not to be missed in Midtown.

Sunday, March 16- Buddy O’Reilly Band @ Eddie’s Attic
Born in a pub and raised on concert and festival stage, the Buddy O’Reilly Band has been a driving force for Irish and American roots music for the past 25 years. “The Buddies”, as they’re affectionately known to their fans, present great time-honored traditional music in a vibrant, engaging and sometimes slightly wacky way even. Wielding fiddles and wooden flute, uilleann pipes (Irish bagpipes), guitar, bodhran, (Irish drum) harmonica and banjo, the Buddies “…create quite a rumble when in full swing!” (Dirty Linen Magazine). Add wonderful ballads and pub songs to the mix, and top off with some powerful Irish step-dancing, and you have one mighty hooley on your hands!
