Brrrr. Our fair city has yet to break out of this massive cold snap, but that’s no reason to stay at home! We’ve got a good selection of rocking shows to keep you moving and warm (and the few beers you’ll probably be having won’t hurt either). And you can look forward to sunnier times with our list of shows about to go on sale.
Thursday, January 27 – Adron, Little Tybee at The EARL
Two of Atlanta’s most charming acts team together to coo and swoon at The EARL; Adron with her birdlike voice and Little Tybee with their multi-instrumental folk melodies. And they’ll be joined by Justin Evans’ Normaltime Ramblers too to round it off.
Thursday, January 27 – Nashville Pussy at Masquerade
Need some seriously raw southern rock ‘n’ roll? Then catch hometown legends Nashville Pussy tonight.
Friday, January 28 – Team Luis Turns Two at Star Bar
We can’t believe it’s been two years since Team Luis started booking some seriously great rock shows. Luis is definitely a firm part of the Atlanta music scene. The very rocking show will feature Goldstein, The Aristocrats (featuring James Hall and Dropsonic’s Dan Dixon and Dave Chase), and a very special guest that we can’t stop PONDERing about (OSA, ahem).
Tickets $8 at the door
Friday, January 28 – Thirty Seconds To Mars at The Tabernacle
While their neo-emo screams might not be our cup of tea, lots of kids love that “My So-Called Life” guy’s band, so we’ll give it a mention.
Saturday, January 29 – Soulphonics & Ruby Velle at The EARL
A nice chunk of soul, a little bit of funk and a whole lot of attitude equals Atlanta’s favorite brassy collective, Soulphonics, with their captivating leading lady Ruby Velle.
