Sprouting from the fertile musical foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Charlottesville, Virginia’s LOVE CANON is not your typical bluegrass band. The musicians, led by guitar pioneer Jesse Harper, are all seasoned, virtuoso string players fused together by the stage to become one—the 80’s hits machine LOVE CANON. With a rental van and a truckers atlas, LOVE CANON has been touring the mid-Atlantic since 2010, evermore increasing their fan-base and interest in their music with every stop.

Mozart’s enduring tale of the enigmatic womanizer, his partner in crime and his many conquests comes to life. Is he the chaser or the chased? Will he ever find true satisfaction or contentment? Is his redemption possible or is he forever damned? Rich with elegant arias and beautiful ensembles, this story tells of the Italian Don Juan and the characters who force him to face what he has become.

Marty Brown @ Smith’s Olde Bar
Marty Brown was born in Maceo, Kentucky. He started playing guitar and writing songs at the age of twelve, and he started entering local talent shows at sixteen. Throughout his teens he worked in the tobacco fields of Kentucky often playing his guitar during lunch hours under the shade of a nearby tree. Eventually Marty made his way to Nashville, Tennessee and met with legendary record producer Tony Brown who signed him to a record deal at MCA Records.
