OK Productions Presents: Austin Lucas with Special Guests Jon Snodgrass, Northcote and Jayke Orvis at Eddie’s Attic
Raised in the backwoods country of Monroe County, Indiana, Austin Lucas was born into a folk and bluegrass lineage. Learning to harmonize before learning to read, Lucas honed his vocal control as a member of the nationally-acclaimed Indiana University Children’s Choir. In a narrative as well-worn as it is true, Lucas rebelled against his upbringing, leaving his Americana roots for the catharsis of punk rock. After the better part of a decade spent criss-crossing the globe with a series of bands in broken-down vans, Lucas hit a musical glass-ceiling, eventually finding respite for his ringing ears in the delicacy of traditional songcraft.
General admission tickets are $12 in advance, $14 at the door. Table seats are $15 each and must be purchased in multiples of 4. Online, phone, and outlet sales close at 5pm on the day of the show.
Generationals w/ Arum Rae at Drunken Unicorn
Ted Joyner and Grant Widmer, friends since high school and Generationals co-captains since 2008, have been in each others’ faces for most of this century. Natural songwriting partners, they made their first three records at home with the help of mutual friend Daniel Black, and in 2013 they launched straight into their fourth with surprising post-tour energy, but after years of creative brain-melding, the dyad had reached a point of ultra-familiarity and comfort in their work routine that, to them, threatened quicksand.
Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 on the day of the show. Online, phone, and outlet sales close at 4pm on the day of the show. Doors open at 9pm.
The Australian Pink Floyd Show at Fox Theater
Having sold over three million tickets to concerts that have taken place in 35 countries, The Australian Pink Floyd Show is rightfully hailed as one of the most in demand touring entities currently operating. The Times Newspaper in London described them as “The Gold Standard”. This act are so good they were even engaged by David Gilmour to perform at his 50th birthday celebration!
Saturday, October 11
Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks at Eddie’s Attic
In the spring of 1965, Dan became the drummer for a nascent San Francisco folk-rock group called The Charlatans, who at that time were more of a concept than an actual working band. Dan had other ideas about the kind of music he wanted to make, and began putting together an acoustic combo which included two female backup singers, who were dubbed “Lickettes”. Dan then began a low-key solo career of acoustic performances. Today, Dan tours worldwide with an updated version of the Hot Licks, and occasionally gigs at various jazz venues in the San Francisco Bay Area, as a vocalist with his swingin’ combo Bayside Jazz. Not only does Dan Hicks continue to delight his long-time fans, he has earned the attention of a whole new generation of music lovers.
General admission tickets are $25 in advance or $32 at the door. Table seats are $31.25 and must be purchased in multiples of 4. Online and phone sales close at 5pm day of show. Doors open at 6pm.

Eddie’s Attic + Terminal West Present: Cory Henry (of Snarky Puppy) at Eddie’s Attic
Cory Henry is a multi-instrumentalist and producer with a catalog worthy of a man twice his age. Henry is primarily known for harmonically rich organ playing that owes a greater debt to the virtuosic unpredictability of Tatum and Peterson than it does to Jimmy Smith and other members of the Hammond organ pantheon. In his best moments he seems to capture the breadth of the Jazz and Gospel idioms and produce something altogether new through his unique blending of the two genres. Although he possesses a great deal of technique, in his solos he regularly subordinates it to a narrative arch and exhibits a maturity that surpasses his years.
Tickets are $10 for general admission. Table seats are $12.50 and must be purchased in multiples of 4.
Sunday, October 12
Slothrust w/ Ricer at The EARL
Formed amidst the ashes of Leah Wellbaum’s solo project, entitled Slothbox, Slothrust was forged with drummer Will Gorin and bassist Kyle Bann. Thanks to their adept jazz & blues backbone, Slothrust plays deceivingly clever rock with a relentless, punk-as-fuck aesthetic. Though commonly compared to Sonic Youth and Nirvana, Slothrust plays a trickier game than its grunge-revivalist peers. From tender to thrashing and from dark to dorky, Slothrust is a band at constant play with its sonic dynamics and emotional spectrum, yet still manages to weave in ear-worming, cathartic hooks.
Tickets are $10. Online, phone, and outlet sales close at 6pm on the day of the show. Doors open at 8pm.
Peter Z, Pharoh & Kelechi, Ser’ Darius Blain, Julian Horton, Jacque Jordan and Kareen Lomax at Vinyl
Peter Zimmerman goes Peter Z and is an actor, rapper, singer and songwriter who has been doing it all since the age of 6. Balance and flow; two words that sum up Pharoh’s style completely. With skills that are complex but not complicated and subjects that border on comic and commentary, Pharoh’s approach to musicianship is as cultured as he is. Pulling musical cues from Kanye West, Jay-Z, Timbaland, and “Country Grammar”-era Nelly, Kelechi combines elite lyricism, spirituality, melody and his unique upbringing to create records from a wildly unique perspective.
Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 day of show. Online, phone, and outlet sales close at 6pm on the day of the show. Doors open at 7pm.
