Atlanta was “hopping” this weekend with the return of the 8th annual A3C Festival which hosted some of the biggest names in hip-hop. Over 300 artists were in our hometown spread across Atlanta venues, including Raekwon, Twista, Tech N9ne, GZA (performing Liquid Swords), Devin The Dude, Slum Village, Hopsin, Ab-Soul, Gunplay, Killer Mike, Chip Tha Ripper, Freeway, Cyhi The Prynce, Nipsey Hussle, Chris Webby, CunninLynguists, 9th Wonder, Young Guru, Dungeon Family (Backbone, Witchdoctor, Sleepy Brown, Slimm Calhoun, Big Rube and Rico Wade), Dizzy Wright, Clear Soul Forces, OCD: Moosh & Twist, Roach Gigz, Oddisee and a special appearance by Ghet-O-Vision/Shady recording artist Yelawolf.
The festival was also filled with helpful panels from the experts, sharing their advice on they got to be where they are today. (See Coach K’s advice on touring above).
Rising stars from across the country and abroad took stage alongside Hip Hop legends showcasing a variety of Hip Hop sounds and regions.
It is no wonder that Atlanta is the HOME of Hip-Hop, and the A3C Festival proves once again that they are part of the process in deciding who the next stars will be.
