Dorian Duvall is Onuinu. He’s been crafting electro pop in Portland, OR for the past few years where the music community has been watching and waiting for this,his first full length album Mirror Gazer. Up til now there’s been a release on an Ape Tapes compliation and a video for the catchy “Ice Palace” replete with kaleidoscopic, melted visuals – directed by Andrew Sloan (Tender Loving Empire). He joined us for our 5GB series.
What’s the first gig you ever attended?
When I was in first grade I went to a Kriss-Kross concert at this big arena. The stage was rotating, all I can remember is green lights and lots of smoke.
What is the best gig that you ever played/performed?
Over the summer while on tour with Tycho I played at Webster Hall, that was by far the best venue I’ve ever played in, the sound was incredible.
What is the best gig you have ever seen?
Seeing Ike Willis was pretty amazing. Lightning Bolt was pretty sick and this Diplo set during Seattle’s Capitol Hill festival was lots of fun.

I would like to open for Oppenheimer analysis
