The funny thing about musicians, is that when it comes to their music, they can bare their soul, but when it comes to interviews they stay guarded! Although he might be of a few words below, Gareth Asher is no stranger to the Atlanta music scene, and has shared the stage with Shawn Mullins, Glen Philips, Emerson Hart, Angie Aparo, Steve Cropper to name a few. In August of 2011, an Indie film director, Shayde Christian, saw Gareth’s set at Eddie’s Attic. Christian was so taken by Gareth, he has scrapped ALL of the music for his up and coming feature film, Painting in the Rain, to insert 7 Gareth songs including, “Safe and Sound,” a haunting duet. He joined us for our 5GB series before his show on Thursday at Eddie’s Attic.

Ask more open-ended questions. Gareth is such an interesting person and has a unique perspective on a lot of things. I got to interview him for RadioPotato.com a few years back and I learned so much. I’m so glad you are highlighting him but I wish more thought-provoking questions were asked.
Thanks for reading….Our 5 GB series asks the same 5 questions to every artist! Sorry to disappoint…
