Since emerging in 2009, CLOUDEATER has quickly established a strong presence in the Atlanta music scene, opening for acts such as Flying Lotus, Little Dragon, N.E.R.D., Metronomy, Girl Talk, Cody Chesnutt. Their forthcoming, Prefuse 73 mixed, follow up to Sun and Sidearm makes a quantum leap forward in the forging of the CLOUDEATER universe.
What’s the first gig you ever attended?
DAN: The earliest one I can remember was the Four Tops and the Temptations at Chastain Park. I must have been 4 or 5. We left halfway through because it started pouring down rain.
What is the best gig that you ever played/performed?
NOLAN: The best gig was at the Masquerade, opening for Tycho and Little Dragon. That crowd was a lot of fun. Great energy.
What is the best gig you have ever seen?
SAM: Radiohead in Chicago this past June
What is the gig you would most like to play?
CHRIS: I would like to play a gig in outer space or in a fictional space like the halls of valhalla. Or a gig near the pyramids. Or in Fingal’s cave in Scotland would be interesting… the one with the hexagonal columns.
What would be the lineup for your dream gig?
TREVOR: My favorite lineup would be a roster of newly reformed, reanimated dead rockstar bands including, but not limited to: Nirvana, Alice in Chains, and Drowningpool. Let the bodies hit the floooooooooooooooooooooooo
