Music is our passion, but when we can add some delicious grub to the mix it’s HEAVEN! This Friday and Saturday, you gotta head over to Atlantic Station and spend the afternoon at the 4th Annual Atlanta Bar-B-Q Festival!
BBQ will be served from 10 of Atlanta’s Top BBQ Restaurants and 50 BBQ Teams will compete for bragging rights and cash prizes. Some of these teams are professionals and some teams are just bad ass, backyard pit-masters! They will all aim to achieve the highest score in categories like ribs, pork, and chicken! One cool addition to this year’s festivities is that the reality TV cook-off show, BBQ Pitmasters, will be filming a full episode at this year’s Atlanta BAR-B-Q Festival. The show is obviously looking to capture all of our Southern goodness!
While all of that BBQ sounds beyond delicious, we’re equally excited for the music! On Friday you can catch these awesome bands: Boo Hoo Ramblers, Gasoline Brothers, Tony Bryant Blues Band, and The Mosier Brothers! On Saturday you’ll enjoy: Joe McGuinness, Brandon Bailey, Lola, Mudcat, and The Breeze Kings!
The Atlanta Bar-B-Q Festival will also feature cooking demonstrations, an Invitational Car Show, and a kids activity area! Grab your buddies or take your family over to Atlantic Station for some great BBQ and some fun music.
